The Authors

LARRY HARRIS was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended the New York Institute of Technology and graduated with a BFA in Communications. He began working for Buddah/Kama Sutra Records in the summer of 1971 as the New York Promotions Man and in 1973 joined Neil Bogart in founding Casablanca Records. Larry became Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the company in 1976 and left Casablanca in the summer of 1979.
Larry currently oversees The Talk Connection, a public relations company designed to use talk radio and magazine format radio in the exposure of musicians, authors, games, films, and other products. He has worked on projects for DirecTV, Universal Music Group, Warner Bros. Records, Higher Octave Music, Atlantic Records, NBC-TV, among many others.
CURT GOOCH served as Executive Producer on the documentary home video about Casablanca Records entitled Inside the Casbah. He has recently appeared on two VH1 specials, Ultimate Albums and When ____ Ruled The World. Curt currently works as a film and video consultant and numbers the BBC, Comedy Central, the National Geographic Channel, A&E, PBS and the estate of Harry Chapin among his roster of clients.
JEFF SUHS co-authored the best-selling KISS Alive Forever: The Complete Touring History. In addition to serving as contributing editor for KISS’s official magazine and recently editing and consulting on Lydia Criss’s autobiography, Sealed With A KISS, Jeff also served as editor for three different publications at Washington University in St. Louis.
